When you take a certain exam, there
is always a score that someone must get in order to pass and get qualified. It
is also applied in the Defense Language Aptitude Battery test (DLAB test) and

a higher qualifying score just like the Air Force and Marine Corps which
requires 100 on DLAB for all the language categories. Take note: Marine corps
will waiver it to a 90 for Category I and Category II Languages but the Air
Force is currently not allowing any waivers.
People are also wondering the
possibility of re-taking the test once you failed the exam. Well, you can
retake the exam if ever you fail the qualifying score but you will only be
allowed to do that after six months. However, if you already got a qualifying
score, the requests for re-taking the exam are only approved based on
documented military necessity, and must be approved by the appropriate
commander.
